It's a very lovely cottage and comfortable too with beautifull garden and view on the sea. Grocer, shop, pub and bus stop are very close to the cottage. Very good welcom from Gordon Smith with good advice for hiking.
Very beautifull walking road in mountains and along the sea

Yet again we have had a lovely week in your special little cottage by the sea. Same great view and cosy atmosphere. It lifts my spirit and calms my soul every time we visit the island. Needless to say "I'll be back" — May Cooper, 20 May 2017
What a fantastic week we've had here. Very relaxing, lovely garden, great views and lots of peace. Some great walks - King's caves, Glenashdale, Glenrosa - lots of lovely seafood, Brodick Castle, and lot of time enjoying the sunshine in the garden. We especially love the cottage and the beach. Thank you. — the Futters, Glasgow, 11 Apr 2015
Lovely cottage. Why is there a dishwasher when the view from the sink is so great? — Pauline and Mike, Rugby, 27 Mar 2015
Wonderful cottage and island, spent many hours walking, cycling and photographing. Really not wanting to go home. I've always wanted to live somewhere calm by the sea and Ferry Cottage has shown me that these places really do exist. Looking forward very much to staying here again. — Jim Danby, Hull, East Yorkshire, 20 Mar 2015
Just wanted to say thank you for letting us use your cottage. It was absolutely lovely; really cosy and well kitted-out and we had a great time. We wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely be coming back.

Thanks again

Thank you, we had a lovely relaxing time at your quaint little cottage. The location is wonderful. We always enjoy being in Blackwaterfoot and will certainly book with you again when we next visit the island. Luckily the weather was very kind to us and we had lots of great walks, and I felt that the cottage gave us a "big hug" on our return.

Many thanks.
